I had placed an order with Val's for a Black Forest 8 inch round for my Dad's 80th bday and the cake was a hit! It was delicious, moist, not too sweet. The perfect cake! And on top of it, we loved the cake so much we went back out on Christmas Eve and picked up a half dozen of assorted holiday cupcakes that were just as yummy! Val, very cleverly was able to make my granddaughter her dream cake, incorporating her love of Elsa and Mermaids. The cake, 2 layers vanilla, and 1 layer chocolate, was so delicious and moist, and was decorated so beautifully. An absolutely superb job. We had a two tier custom wedding cake and 300 cupcakes. Val gave us the option to have 10 different cupcake flavors and she did it all so smoothly. Everyone loved the cupcakes and the cake. She was very easy to work with and she set everything up. Would recommend her to anyone who wants delicious desserts for their wedding.
Val created the wedding cake of our dreams – and then exceeded every expectation! The cake and cupcakes were absolutely stunning, fitting our nature theme perfectly with gorgeous handcrafted fondant mushrooms and an incredible birch bark design that looked almost too beautiful to cut into. Val's artful arrangement of our homegrown wedding flowers as the topper was the perfect personal touch that made it truly ours. Guest after guest told us it was the best tasting wedding cake or cupcake they'd ever had. Val is incredibly talented and we can't recommend her highly enough!
